The key to maintaining inner peace

Flexibility is not just something for the body; it is also a mental practice. Learning to be flexible with change without getting upset or stressed out is an art. It helps us keep focused on what’s important and maintain our inner peace.

It is easy for the mind to get discouraged and want to fight change rather than to yield and surrender to the process. There is always a lesson or blessing behind every moment, yet we often miss it when we fight it rather than take a step back and look at it from a different perspective. We can either see life as working for us or against us.

We often get so caught up in what’s wrong that we forget to see what is right. And sometimes it’s right in front of us staring at us waiting for us to see it, yet we miss it. The world is designed to distract us from what’s really important in life-love, and our spiritual growth. We are only here temporarily so it is important that we focus on our spiritual evolution.

Seeing things from a spiritual perspective allows us to rise above the material world and work from a higher dimension, the spiritual dimension. This is what people of honor do, act from their spirit, their higher being. This allows them to harness powers beyond the limits of the mind. This is what is available to us if we choose to flow and let go. As in anything, balance is key, balance between doing and surrendering.
