“I have decided to stick with love…Hate is too great a burden to bear.”-Martin Luther King Jr.
I choose to forgive because my capacity to love is greater than my capacity to hate. I choose to forgive because I am aware of my human nature, I know what it is to feel greed, lust, jealousy, etc., however I choose to feed my light and starve my dark. I choose to forgive because I choose Love, and by choosing love I choose my greatest well being. By choosing to love I become a vessel of love and not hate. I choose to not tolerate hate in my environment by not harvesting it within my being. Again, I choose to forgive because I choose love, and it’s a choice that must be made over and over again until that’s all that remains.
Wonderful post on the value of forgiving.
