This is something that I wrote in 2012, I was in a different state of being during this time, one which I would like to embody once again:

One must take responsibility for one’s own life here and now, today. Yesterday is long gone. All you have is this very moment to live as fully and as best as you can. Life is sweet, life is very sweet. Savor it, I was blessed to be born in a country where I have numerous rights and freedoms the only chains that hold me are those that are hidden in the depths of my mind, and I have control over those, I have the ability to free myself from habits that don’t produce happiness and joy, I trust and live in a great universe, I know who I am and where I come from- my origin is infinite. I know I cannot be hurt -my source is divine.
