Breaking free

“Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment.”-Morihei Ueshiba

I’ve come to realize that for those of us who have struggled with self-esteem issues, comparing ourselves, criticizing, and judging ourselves is actually an easy task to do. It is learning how to undo these habits that’s the challenge, changing thoughts from ‘I’m not good enough’ to ‘I am worth it’ are what keep us from a healthier way of being. It is when we stand up for ourselves that we release our true power to become our greatest version, it is a struggle indeed; breaking free is what’s at stake.

Can we learn to dance in our dance? To embrace our grace? Can we remember our tranquility? Practicing awareness is how we are able to tame the fluttering thoughts that dance in our mind, one moment at a time; we regain our ability to be free. We allow our hearts to guide us, and allow the divine to move us. Let’s take back our right to be free and love what is true within each one of us. I am worth it, I am free.
