As I was driving up the freeway yesterday I saw a billboard for a new children’s movie called ‘The Good Dinosaur,’ this immediately brought up a thought. I remembered the kids that I used to teach and recalled how at such a young age they were already programmed with thoughts of ‘I can’t, it’s too hard, or even worse, ‘that’s for girls.’ I see the messages that the media sends to young minds and I wonder how many parents are aware enough to see how a new generation is being taught the same garbage that they learned as kids. This idea of good and bad is most damaging to a young soul who is just learning what life is about, to be judged as good or bad is the beginning of suffering, though there are trials in life that make it more challenging to live in peace, for the most part a lot suffering is created by these false ideas from a society that lives life chained to the mind unaware of their spiritual essence.

If we are to lead a new way of living we must protect the children from the trash of limiting beliefs and false ideas, we must show them the power and freedom they possess in choosing happiness over misery, love over fear, peace over war. They are our future leaders and creators, let’s show them what life is really all about and encourage them to dream bigger dreams and follow their heart let’s remind them of their spirit and power of will. Let the children be free from mental slavery and live free.
