I don’t believe there is such a thing as bad people, I especially don’t believe in the idea of bad kids. What I do believe is that there are people who are quick to judge and criticize, forgetting to put themselves in the shoes of others. I also believe that we live in a society which is primarily controlled by a media who tells the masses how to think, act, and live. They point out things that are ‘wrong’ and they also point out things that are ‘right’. But from a spiritual perspective, there is no such thing as wrong or right, things just are as they are so there is no need for the drama which permeates the television screens of millions of viewers, or online visitors. In spiritual life there is absolutely no need to judge, condemn nor criticize the other, because we see the other person as part of ourselves, our reflection, a unit of the whole, the one. In this view we only love, support, or aid the healing of the other, we assist one another on a path of better understanding and well being because we understand that love is the key in any relationship and that it heals.

I was the black sheep in the family, the ‘bad child’, this is why I stand in the position where I am, I do not believe in the idea of ‘bad kids.’ I believe that people are misinformed or uneducated about one another, and some are even so full of so much internal turmoil that all they see is their dark world; they are unable to step out of their zone and into that of another. I feel that what we really need in order to learn how to better deal with one another is love and compassion because hate only begets hate, there is far too much hate in this world, let’s not add to it anymore. We must learn and remember who we are and why we are here on this earth, let’s create the peace that we wish to see outside within ourselves first. We must love ourselves and respect ourselves so much so that this love, patience, and respect leaks out of us and unto one another so that all we have is love and respect of each other, especially tolerance. We must remember our history and the atrocities that have been committed against mankind for lack of tolerance. We all have dreams to fulfill, there is no reason why one person’s dreams are more valid than the others, we are all beloved creations of God and under the creator’s love we are all equally important in this grand scheme of life. Let’s remember to love and to love fully knowing that we are each other’s friend.
