“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.” –Mother Teresa
Establishing a personal relationship with God/creator/the universe, in my opinion, is one of the greatest investments in life. It is the one relationship which is eternal, and, depending on how developed the relationship is, can be the most loving. This is not to imply that God is not being loving at all times, but there are moments in life where it is most evident, especially when a person is conscious of this relationship. The relationship with the creator is sacred and therefore must be taken care of and guarded, especially from people who wish to intrude in the relationship and tell you that the things you are doing are ‘wrong’ or ‘right.’ There is no such thing as right or wrong when it comes to the divine one because his/her love is unconditional. The more you get to know God and understand her ways, the better you understand the dance of life and are able to co create in harmony. How strong the bond you develop with God is all up to you, the creator has given us the freewill to reach out to him when, and if, we desire to do so.
Personally I feel a freedom unlike none other when I remember God in all my undertakings here on earth. It is when I forget to include God in my life that things get challenging for me and I no longer enjoy the mere fact that I am here on earth to live, breathe and love. Although I’ve nurtured this relationship with God for a long time, I am constantly amazed at her creation, and almost like a human relationship, it continues to grow and flourish. I am still learning things about God today that I didn’t know yesterday, and that is exactly who God is; always new, always present, God has no age because she is constantly growing and moving. It is difficult to be bored when you are connected to him because the creator is like the fountain of youth, always in bliss; being connected to God is bliss.
I love reading about God/the creator/the universe from different perspectives, it just shows me how immense his love is, his relationship with each one of his creations is unique yet undivided. I especially notice this in Mother Nature with her hundreds of species. When I encounter a person whose understanding of the divine one resonates with mine I feel a special connection with them, it’s as if our connection goes beyond the earthly realm. When a connection such as this occurs I am reminded that it is God who has orchestrated such a meeting, the greater my frequency resonates with the creator the more of this type of people I attract into my life. It is in these relationships in which I am also able to grow in my understanding of God.
God is good, the creator does not want you to suffer, he only wants your happiness. Seek the truth and you will find it.
